Karishma, on intention.

Anthropoiid was born from my belief that what we wear should carry meaning. As a fashion stylist, I’ve always seen jewellery as more than adornment. It is expression. It is identity. It is the quiet detail that speaks before we do.

Yet so much of what surrounds us today is made for speed, not for story. I created Anthropoiid as a return to intention. We design made-to-order silver jewellery for artists and collectors who value depth over trend. Every piece begins with a concept and is shaped with care — not mass produced, not rushed.

Silver, to me, feels human. It evolves, carries marks, and grows richer with time, just like the people who wear it. Anthropoiid is for those who invest in the narrative behind a piece — who understand that jewellery is not simply worn, but lived in.

Our vision is rooted in our name —
the idea of becoming.

Much like a human being evolves over time, we envision the brand growing layer by layer, collection by collection, into a complete form. Each piece represents a fragment of identity, a chapter in a larger story.

As our community grows, we hope every customer builds their own little human through the pieces they collect — selecting from each collection to create something deeply personal and whole.

The work

Made by hand, made to order, made to last.

Each piece in Experiment 01 — our debut collection of 23 pieces — is hand-finished in our Andheri East workshop in Mumbai. We draw from the unseen architecture of the human body and translate it into wearable form. Nothing is mass produced. Nothing is rushed.

01 — Material

925 silver, CZ stones, 18kt gold rhodium plating.

Solid sterling silver is our foundation. Pieces are accented with white, red, green, yellow, and blue CZ stones, and finished where the design calls for it with a luminous rhodium plating. Silver, to us, feels human — it evolves and grows richer with time.

02 — Craft

Hand-finished in Mumbai.

Every piece is made to order in our Andheri East workshop over 7–10 business days. Skilled artisans shape, set, and finish each piece by hand. No drop shipping, no factories abroad — just slow, considered craft.

03 — Concept

Anatomy translated into adornment.

Each collection studies a different system of the body. Experiment 01 reads the cell — egg cells, neurons, ribosomes, kidney cells, blood cells. The forms are wearable, but the references are biological. Adornment as anatomy.
